Matt joined Stratcom in late 2010 after working with Stratcom on numerous projects for over a decade in his role as Partner at Tactical Outcomes, a campaign and public engagement firm Matt co-founded in Vancouver, BC. Matt has over ten years experience working on all aspects of campaigns in all sectors, including electoral, not-for-profit, issue based, aimed at policy change, for fundraising and more.
Since joining Stratcom, Matt has specialized in engagement strategy including communications and development of new targeting products and approaches. He now heads up the newly developed department that focuses on engagement and targeting utilizing unique tactics such as Telephone Town Halls and Interactive Voice Responses.
Matt completed his Master’s in Geography from the University of Toronto in early 2011. His thesis was an investigation into visible minority electability under Vancouver’s at-large electoral system. While completing his Master’s, Matt enhanced to proficient his abilities with statistical analysis software SPSS, computer mapping software GIS and data and database management.
