Dean has been with Strategic Communications since 1996. He leads the team providing technical support on computer and communications systems, including phones, networks and software. He and his team design and build customized intranet and internet systems. He is by most accounts director of all things with a plug. Before Stratcom, Dean was a professional hooligan, creating publicity stunts for the environmental group Greenpeace. Dean has an Honours B.Com. from Queen's University.

Originally from Toronto, Dean now lives in Vancouver with his wife, Madeline, stepchildren Phoebe and Merlin, and dog Spot.
