In addition to his responsibilities as Director of Operations in the Vancouver office, David is a Senior Consultant in the Campaigns and Research Department. He brings more than twenty years experience in both qualitative and quantitative research in both the academic and non-profit worlds, and extensive experience in social movements.

Throughout the 1980s, David was actively involved in the peace and environmental movements and was one of the two senior staff at the Canadian Peace Alliance during the first Gulf War in 1991. During the same period, David was a consultant at the Participatory Research Group working in a variety of areas including program evaluations, women's labour force status and oral histories.

David joined Strategic Communications in 1996 when he was brought on board to open the Vancouver office. David received his M.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto in 1982. He is currently working on his Ph.D. at the School of Communications at Simon Fraser University.
