In keeping with Stratcom’s philosophy of helping our clients make a difference, our staff vote every year to select one non-client charity in each of the communities where we live and work to receive a holiday season donation.

We’d like to take the opportunity to highlight the winning charities this year, and the important work that they do.

In Toronto, our staff has chosen West End Food Co-op which focuses on creating local food security through community driven initiatives such as the Sorauren Farmers’ Market featuring organic and locally grown produce.

In Vancouver, our staff has chosen SAFER (Suicide Attempt Follow-up, Education and Research) which is a community based outpatient counseling service that also provides education for suicide prevention. Click here to learn more (PDF).
