Strategic Communications wishes you and your family a joyful holiday season. All the best for 2018 – we look forward to working with you in the new year.
At Stratcom, we work with non-profits to make a difference in a local communities, nationally, and abroad. Continuing with tradition, we are making a donation on behalf of clients and staff to a non-client charity in each of the communities where we live and work. These donations are decided by vote of our staff in each of our offices.
In Edmonton, our staff have chosen Edmonton’s Food Bank. Canada’s first food bank, it delivers food hampers to 20,000 people — 40% of whom are under 18.
In Toronto, our staff have chosen High Park Nature Centre, a non-profit that provides hands-on outdoor nature education and park stewardship to over 14,000 people from across the Greater Toronto Area.
In Ottawa, our staff have chosen Centre Espoir Sophie, a francophone drop-in centre for marginalized women in Ottawa. The centre aims to improve the health, dignity and living conditions of women in vulnerable situations.
In Vancouver, our staff have chosen Autism Support Dogs, a division of British Columbia Guide Dog Services. This organization provides professionally trained dogs to children with autism aged 3-10 and their guardians, at no cost to the families. Support dogs help reduce anxiety and support daily living skills, among other benefits.
