Spotlight on: Dawn Hoffman
Dawn Hoffman is a Senior Research Associate at Stratcom who conducts the majority of the firm’s qualitative research. Dawn is a strategic, results-oriented polling and communications professional with 25 years of experience working for progressive advocacy organizations, foundation, and government clients in Canada, the US and Australia-Pacific.
Dawn’s expertise lies in using qualitative and quantitative research to inform successful public affairs, advocacy, and communications campaigns. Over the course of her career, Dawn has designed, implemented, and analyzed hundreds of customized research studies while working for top Canadian, US, and Australian polling market research firms. Before moving to Canada almost a decade ago, she was a Senior Vice President at Global Strategy Group, where she helped mission-driven organizations develop and launch research-based policy and behavior change campaigns.
Dawn’s work has spanned the gamut of progressive politics, and she has advised clients across the environmental, public health, and education sectors, as well as worked to champion the rights of working families through her work with labour unions in Canada, the US and Australia. Stratcom clients through the years have included Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario, Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation, Oxfam Canada, departments of public health and education, and all levels of federal, state, and municipal government.
Dawn holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Cornell University.
