Dan is Strategic Communications’ longest serving employee with more than twenty years experience in telefundraising. Over the years, Dan has managed several major client accounts, including the Canadian Cancer Society, Friends of Canadian Broadcasting, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, TVO, and the Humane Society of the United States.
In addition to extensive experience with telefundraising, Dan has overseen numerous voter identification campaigns in every major provincial and national election since 1998.
Dan studied journalism at Ryerson University where he specialized in magazine journalism. Dan has taught direct response at Humber College and has led workshops on telefundraising for a wide range of audiences.
Dan lives in Toronto with his partner Lisa, daughter Jasmine, and stepson Kieran.
Dan served as a member of the Fundraising Measurement Consulting Group for the development of the CMA’s Fundraiser’s Handbook and contributed to the ‘Telefundraising’ chapter of the “Excellence in Fundraising in Canada book, Volume 2” edited by Guy Mallabone.
