New Call Centre in Brighton, UK
New office also to benefit Canadian and US programs
Stratcom is pleased to announce that, in response to a growing interest from potential UK clients, we have opened an office and call centre in Brighton, UK this month.
The Brighton centre will provide high-end, tailored phone fundraising as well as voter contact programs and polling. Stratcom has been working in the UK for the past four years with calling services being subcontracted to other UK firms or being performed from our Canadian offices. We’ve decided that the time is right to enhance both of these options with our own service offering in the UK.

As in Canada, Stratcom UK also intends to offer such tools as survey and focus group research, data and targeting, telephone town halls, and other engagement tools.
Over the past year and a half, Stratcom has recruited some of the top fundraising experts in the UK to join our team and make this next stage in our expansion possible. Bethan Francis has become Stratcom’s Senior Associate. Bethan has over 15 years’ experience in UK fundraising, most recently as the Client Service Director for then-market leader Pell & Bales, managing clients such Cancer Research UK, RSPCA, Oxfam UK, UNICEF, the British Red Cross, IFAW, NSPCC and Marie Curie.
Lianne Sims joins our team as Director of Call Centre and Fundraising Operations in Canada and the UK. Lianne also comes from Pell & Bales where she was the Operations Director for five years and highly regarded in that role. Lianne will now be based out of Toronto and leading the performance improvement and management of our Canadian operations, while also having overall responsibility for the UK operations.
Liz Morrison is now our Quality and Training Manager, ensuring top performance and training for our front line fundraisers. Liz worked with Pure, another of the UK’s market leader in ethical fundraising. Liz will oversee our work in Brighton as well as continue to assist our work in Canada.
In addition to expanding our UK client base, our UK call-centre will also expand and enhance our work in Canada as we expect we’ll begin calling from the UK into Canada to both expand our pool of top fundraisers and provide more coverage for programs that require higher volume. We have found from our work in the past calling from Canada into the UK and the US, and from the UK into Canada, that calling from international locations can be an asset and meets with little objection from donors and potential donors.
